DISCURSO ALOCUCION DEL GRAN MAESTRO DE LA GLE DE 9 DE ABRIL 2022 (E.V.)

Muy Respetables y Venerables Hermanos, queridos Hermanos todos. Gracias, graces, eskerri asko, grazas, thank you, obrigado, merci, danku.

En este momento, el sentido que predomina en mi corazón es la emoción y la gratitud. Que tantos HH.·. hayan confiado en mí y me hayan permitido sentarme en la “Silla” de esta mi amada institución, es un honor tan alto que tengo dificultad para expresarlo con palabras. Creo que en toda mi vida no seré capaz de devolveros lo que me habéis dado. Pero tened claro que me empeñaré, junto con todo mi equipo, para estar a la altura de lo que esperáis.

RECUERDO A JOSÉ EDUARDO SORIANO

Antes de comenzar con el fondo de mi intervención, permitidme que dedique un emocionado recuerdo al VH José Eduardo Soriano, quien pasó al O.E. hace muy pocos días y cuya llamada telefónica el pasado 24 de enero caló tan hondo en mí, que creo será imposible olvidarla nunca. Allí donde estés, Eduardo, Goian Bego

Y también unas palabras de afecto y unión fraternal con nuestros HH. de Ucrania que están sufriendo los horrores de esta guerra cruel e intolerable que ha alterado sus vidas de una manera tan injusta. Cuando termine esta asamblea, una de mis primeras acciones será contactar con el G.M. de la Gran Logia de Ucrania pera ponerme a su entera disposición.

Por ello, en homenaje a las vidas perdidas en Ucrania y en el recuerdo de nuestros hermanos y familias que han pasado al O.E., os pido que guardemos un minuto de silencio. Por favor HH. en pie,

ÁNIMO PARA ÓSCAR DE ALFONSO

Hermanos, esta cátedra que hoy ocupo fue en el pasado asiento de los M.R. Hermanos. Luis Salat, Tom Sarobe, Josep Corominas, José Carretero y Oscar de Alfonso. Dos están entre nosotros y quiero reconocerles su esfuerzo y dedicación a la Orden. Y a ti en particular, querido Oscar, que eres quien me ha precedido, quiero reconocer estos 12 años de trabajo y entrega. Y si me lo permites, sé que has dado hasta tu propia salud y espero que encuentres un pronto restablecimiento.

NUEVA ETAPA

¡Y hermanos! Abrimos un periodo nuevo en la GLE. Son muchas las tareas que tenemos por delante. Muchos los retos. Y lo que os traslado es certidumbre. Vamos a trabajar en equipo. Un colectivo de Hermanos sólido, con mucha experiencia, con ganas. Pero, sobre todo, con espíritu de servicio y con amor fraternal a nuestros hermanos.

Vamos a ponernos a trabajar desde el primer día. Y ya anuncio desde ahora, que el Gran Secretaría convocará el próximo lunes al Gran Consejo Rector para abordar todos los asuntos:

• Una auditoría de cuentas
• Una actualización de nuestro sistema contable y administrativo
• Una auditoria de procesos administrativos
• Una agilización del funcionamiento de la oficina y secretaría de la GLE
• La implantación de las nuevas tecnologías
• El restablecimiento de nuestra amistad con el Priorato o el Prince Hall
• El impulso de las provincias y las logias
• La modernización de nuestros sistemas de comunicación internos y eternos.

Y tantas otras materias que iremos poco a poco poniendo encima de la mesa.

Pero entre todas ellas, la principal y la que constituye el objeto de esta Gran Maestría, será la reforma de nuestra Constitución y RRGG. No en balde, ha sido el primer decreto que he tenido el enorme placer de firmar. Una reforma que parte del Pueblo masónico y que será debatida en todas las logias, por todos los hermanos y aprobada en la Gran Asamblea.

GRADOS CAPITULARES

Y en este orden de cosas, quiero hacer una mención especial al Santo Arco Real de Jerusalén. El decreto que habéis tenido la ocasión de escuchar establece que, con la elección e instalación del nuevo GM, contamos igualmente con un nuevo Gran Primer Principal, tal y como se establece en los artículos 8 y 25 de los Estatutos del SGCE. En breve, habrá un nuevo cuadro de oficiales y una Gran Asamblea del Supremo Gran Capítulo de España.

Y mi compromiso hoy aquí, ante todos vosotros, es recuperar el reconocimiento del SGC de Escocia. A esta noble tarrea dedicaré todo mi esfuerzo y conocimiento.

Voy concluyendo HH. Deseo que todos los HH de la GLE recuperen ese sentimiento de emoción, de alegría y de amistad que sintieron el día de su iniciación.

Y aquí, me voy a dirigir a los que son mis HH de mi logia madre Stella Matutina 75 al O. de Donostia- San Sebastián. En esta RLS me inicié, me formé y aprendí a ser masón. Gracias Stella Matutina.

TODOS SOMOS HH.·.

Ese sentimiento profundo que impregna nuestro corazón en el momento de nuestra iniciación debe volver a reinar en nuestra Gran Logia. Todos somos HH, sea cual sea nuestro lugar de nacimiento o nuestra manera de pensar. Todos estamos llamados a participar en el gobierno de la Gran Logia y en la reforma que vamos a emprender y todos tenemos el derecho a disfrutar de nuestras tenidas y de las hermosas enseñanzas de nuestros rituales.

LLAMADA A LOS DURMIENTES

Y todo esto con transparencia y amor fraternal. Y estoy seguro de que muchos hermanos “en sueños” volverán a llamar a las puertas de nuestras logias. Y concluyo. Provengo de una familia de marinos y he nacido muy cerca de las aguas del bravo mar cantábrico.

AL SERVICIO DE LA TRIPULACIÓN

La Gran Logia de España es un barco que surca los mares. El GM es el capitán, sus oficiales la tripulación y todos los HH los pasajeros de la embarcación. Y os pregunto: ¿quién dirige el barco? En efecto, es la tripulación. El capitán es el último responsable. Pero el destino de todos es el mismo. Si el buque sufre un percance, corren riesgo por igual todos los pasajeros, la tripulación y el capitán. Y si el barco llega a buen puerto, todos disfrutarán.

Este es el compromiso y el afán con el quiero terminar estas palabras. Hermanos muchísimas gracias. Recibid cada uno de vosotros un TAF.
